This rowing system re-thinks and simplifies the traditional seat/slide system of rowing shells. It provides a simpler, more efficient and more easily built and maintained rowing system for boats. Existing row boats can be retro-fitted with this rowing system. The same system can be implemented as a new type of in-room rowing machine.
